Several different moods in just a few days
We travelled as a couple with a fairly varied plan: one day in Seville, one day at Caminito del Rey, three nights and three days in Torremolinos for a wedding, two nights in Granada and one final night in Córdoba.
Looking back, that mix is exactly what I enjoyed. You go from a major city to the mountains, then into a more personal part of the trip around the wedding, before heading back to Granada and Córdoba.

Seville was far too short
We only had one day in Seville. We saw part of the city, including Plaza de España, but nowhere near enough to feel that we had properly explored it.
That is probably our only real regret from the trip: not staying longer. I would genuinely like to go back with more time, walk around without watching the clock and see what we missed the first time.
A day at Caminito del Rey
The next day could hardly have felt more different. No streets or monuments here: cliffs, walkways attached to the rock and the river far below.
Visually, it was one of the stops that contrasted most with the rest of the trip and gave the itinerary a completely different dimension.

Three days in Torremolinos for a wedding
Part of the trip had a very specific reason behind it: we were in Torremolinos for a wedding, where we stayed for three nights and three days.
It was a different kind of break in the itinerary — less about sightseeing and much more about the event, the people and enjoying the moment.

Granada was the one I enjoyed most
Granada was the real highlight for me. I loved the old town, the charm, the streets, the views and especially the architecture. It felt like a city with a lot of character without having to search hard for it.
The Alhambra is obviously a huge part of the experience, but it is not the only thing I remember. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere in the evening.

Sangria and flamenco
The sangria and the flamenco show in Granada were two things I genuinely loved. The performance was beautiful and fitted the atmosphere of the city perfectly.
And of course, there was what we ate
Two simple things still stand out for me: Iberian ham croquetas and patatas bravas. Nothing complicated, but exactly the kind of dishes I wanted to order again whenever I saw them on the menu.
Córdoba left me a little more divided
I connected a bit less with Córdoba. The city felt more muted to me than Granada or Seville, and personally I did not get quite the same feeling that made me want to extend the stay.
The Mezquita is a completely different story. Even though the city itself left less of an impression on me, the monument is a genuine cultural masterpiece. The mix of styles, the famous arches and the cathedral at the heart of the building are incredibly impressive.

Granada is still my favourite stop. Seville is the place I most want to return to — one day was nowhere near enough.
